X'mas here !

X'mas is just 2 days from now, so I like to wish my family and all my friends a very Merry X'mas and a Happy 2007!!

Some updates:

I have paid my course fee for my J2EE course, so confirm I going liao. Although I have been into .NET all these years, I guess learning J2EE will be a advantage for me bah. Moreover, they will teach Web Services also. So I will be hanging around Clementi and NUS on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings.

Secondly, I going to Taiwan with my mother and brother fo 7 days from 30th Dec to 7th Jan. The Dynasty Travel tour will cover the whole of Taiwan I think. Hope it will be a good trip.


Hmmm.. dunno if you guys use Interbanking anot. Recently, I received a 2FA token from OCBC and DBS. The token looks like those car remote box one. A bit troublesome leh. Got to press the button and get a 6-digit number to use for login, with the usual userid and pin lah. I guess it will be safer to use IB with these extra protection. Still thinking whether to bring these 2 extra things together with my keys whereever i go anot.

Update on my knee

Yesterday, went to SGH to see a specialist doctor to check my knee. The stupid doctor felt my knee and moved my leg up and down abit and said "Knee cap problem. Very common. I send you to physio. Come back after 3 mths. Then take a x-ray and see the knee recovers anot". That's all leh. He didnt even explain what was the problem with my knee. Before I could ask him, he asked me to go outside and wait liao.

Anyway I went for my 1st physio session on the same day. My physioist(dunno how to spell), her name is Alice. Quite a cute lady leh. I think cute until when she ask me to do some things, I somehow a bit blur, do wrongly haha. Anyway she helped me diagnose my problem and told me what's wrong.

There's an inbalance of muscle pulling on my knee, so the knee cap is pulled to one side which causes the sharp pain. So got to do those physio exercise to strenghten the muscle that is weak to pull the knee cap back. hmm.. something like that lah.

Alice asked me to do those exercise on my own everyday then come back 4 weeks later for another physio session.

Anyway yesterday was my bank's D&D. Quite a boring one. Lousy food, lousy service, lousy entertainment and lousy lucky draw prizes. I didn't win any prize as usual. Only some consolation prize I received for participating in the Best Dress compeition. With my stupid shirt I wore last nite, how to win? I was kapo-ed by my colleagues lah haha. Theme was Around the world with Mizuho. The dinner was at Marina Mandarin. When I went there for my cousin's wedding, the food and service was ok leh. Dunno what happen last nite. Maybe my bank low budget lah. Imagine the bank gave away calculators as lucky draw prize!!!! Somemore the calculator is customer give one..

Only took 2 fotos last nite. Maybe when my colleague send me more fotos then i upload to show.

ippt update

ok, firstly, i didnt pass the ippt again. but this time i fared better. I passed my situps and 2.4 run. Yeah man! But once again, I hurted my knee, so I took the chance to report sick. The MO (Medical Officer) referred me to a specalist at SGH, so i'm going there next friday for a checkup on my knee.

Hope its not something too serious, but good enough to excuse me from taking SBJ lah because I simply can't stand hurting my knee again everytime i land. Dunno izzit because of my jumping technic, or my knee that is giving the problem.

Anyway i meet up with her on wednesday nite. She was in yishun and asked me if I was free to meet up to pass me my birthday present. Well, my birthday was one and a half months ago leh. What a belated present.



Well not exactly the kind of present I will like. The most I wear is a watch. I don't wear any thing around my neck, fingers, wrists and anything else. What do u all think? A citigem braclet. A bit girly for a big guy like me?

Anyway, I asked her how her bf proposed to her. She say he didn't. duh! Then? She said her bf's auntie say why don't you two get married. She say ok lor. That's all it takes to get a girl to marry you????? Wow. No flowers, no rings, no romantic settings? Just get your auntie to ask.. Don't even need your mother.

IPPT again tml. Perhaps my last chance?

If you have read my entry on October 07, 2006, you might have seen the picture that I put up showing my lousy IPPT result. Guess what, I found out from my ex-campmate that I can actually go back to my NS unit to retake IPPT even though my IPPT window is already closed. This is good news indeed.

So I called the NS clerk and asked about taking IPPT. He said I can take and I be taking my IPPT again tomorrow!!!! Yeah man.. But getting a bit nervous. Although I feel that I have improved alot in my running and physical strength. I am just afraid that my chin-ups and standing broad jump still cant make it.

But this time I know I won't fail my sit-ups at least. Coz I for sure can do about 40 in 1 min. I tried before so I know.

This time I really need some luck and motiviation. Please wish me luck and strength as well.

Coz I don't think I will have any more chances of doing anymore IPPT after tomorrow liao.

My new running top

Bought a new running top from Adidas yesterday. Now adidas got xmas sales. I bought the top only for 29 dollars. Only selected items got discount though.

This week been a sneezing and coughing week for me. At the start of the week, i got running nose, after the nose run finish, came the cough.

But this few days slightly better liao, after gulping down some cough mixture that I bought from my family doc.

she's getting married

this afternoon received a call from her. she said she wanted to buy a laptop, asked me if acer laptop ok anot. i told her acer not bad, i using acer now also. then blah blah blah blah

then she said, "Jason, im getting married." i was very shocked. "huh, when?" "Next month" she replied. I said "ok." then we ended the call.

I realised I didnt congrat her. So i smsed her. she replied "thanks."

she is getting married, i should be feeling happy for her. instead i felt a bit sour. not exactly sad, but just not happy.

not that i haven got over her. just that maybe i still hold a little small hope that one day i might stand a chance again.

she is getting married. i should just forget all about it.

Gosh, am I behind time?

In the recent months, I attended friends' weddings, visited friends with their new-born babies, can't help but wonder if I am behind time?

Actually, I prefer getting a wife and bearing children at a younger age, then at least my wife only have to suffer while she is still young and the gap between us and our children won't be so huge.

I don't want the situation such that I am turning 50 and my children is still schooling. How to take care of them?

But I saying all these in the aspect that I can find someone who is willing to tie the knot with me lah.

Who knows, maybe I will be single till old haha..

Quality of the fotos still ok right? 2 megapixel only. But the phone functions quite good. A lot better than my previous 6230.

Busy schedule coming up

Busy schedule coming up starting next jan. Still I haven decide whether to go ahead with it anot.

3 things that I be doing, taking up all 7 days of the week. The 3 things are J2EE course at NUS, RT (Remedial Training) coz i failed my IPPT and lastly my Gym sessions.

Each week the schedule in is something like this.

Monday to Friday - Working @ Capital Towers 8.30am to 5.00pm

After work:

Monday - J2EE course at NUS 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Tuesday - Gym at California Fitness 6.00pm to 8.00pm
Wednesday - J2EE course at NUS 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Thursday - RT at Khatib Camp 6.00pm to 10.00pm (most likely 8.00pm will finish)
Friday - J2EE course at NUS 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Saturday - Gym at California Fitness (probably in the afternoon)
Sunday - RT at Khatib Camp 4.00pm to 8.00pm (most likely 6.00pm will finish)


Maybe some of you might think, hey that not very busy what!

Well, comparing with what I doing now, it quite a big change. Coz most of the days, after work I either go gym or go home watch TV haha.

The thing I'm considering whether to go ahead is the J2EE course starting 3 Jan to Mid Apr. 9 hours of night classes a week. But if I dont take the course in Jan, the next one is in June or July.

RT and Gym no need to consider lah. Coz RT is compulsory to attend and gym I already paid the money liao. LL lor.

Vivocity mall => nothing special what....

Today, send my dad's car for service. I didn't want to wait there like a fool like that, so I decided to walk around. The car workshop is around redhill area. Actually I wanted to find some coffeeshop to have lunch or something, but dunno how, i anyhow walk and found myself at redhill mrt.

Hmm... Went in and look at the mrt map. Hmm.. Harbourfront? Vivocity? Ok, lets go take alook. Went there and walk around. Ya, its quite big, but nothing much leh.

Felt hungry, so have some kaya toast and kopi at Ya-kun. Then went back to the car workshop to collect the car.

Interesting hor.... lol

Then went to fook hai building where the chan brothers tour office is situated. Wah, so many people there leh. Took a queue no, and the lady told me got 30 people before me in the queue. Pengz... Wait until when. She told me, why dun go to suntec tmr. Got chan brother tour fair there. I loiter there awhile to see how slow the queue is.

After waiting 35 mins, only 3-4 people. I gave up and went home.
