My arms hurt like hell

Tell you people a joke. Went to CF on Monday with a friend. Join a class call boxercise. Quite fun, but at the same time siong also. Similar to those "tekan" session back in army days.

After the class, we went to do some biceps and triceps. Wow, i do a few reps like no kick like tat. Do a few chin-ups at the chin-up machine also.

Then when I went to wash-up at the gents, I start to feel that my arms are very heavy and I cant really lift them up.

The next day, wah. whole body aching. my arms still ok. Fetch my dad to hospital to check up. Arms and shoulder a bit stiff and painful in the evening.

The next day after the next, which is Wednesday. Went back to work. Wah, got problem brushing teeth, washing face. Wearing my shirt also. Then whole day in the office, arms hurt like hell. Feel like my arms are broken like tat. Damn "jialat"! That night went to use some muscle ache relieve "thing" to rub on my arms. Pain like hell. Next day, got a session with the CF instructor, so I tot i better go sleep earlier and rest my arms, hopefully they will recover.

Then thursday which was yesterday, I woke up. Arms still the same. Then I told myself, better cancel the gym session. I even consider taking MC. haha but i didnt lah. coz i took leave for friday already mah.

Then today, arms are alot better, thankfully.

Okay, hope you all don't luff until stomach ache or roll over the floor until head knock on wall or wad ah.

Too long nvr exercise lor. Thats the price to pay. But I think the CF class was fun minus the after-effect of coz. keke

Poorer and healtier, I will become

This week, I made a decision which had made me poorer, but becoming healtier... I hope.

Well, since i got my pay on Friday, I should be richer right? But I spend it immediately. ON THE SAME DAY. In fact, I spend more than 2mths of what I take home on Friday.

I invested on a 3 years' California Fitness membership plus 2mths of Personal Training package. Wahhh... You must be thinking, is this the Jason you know right?

Jason is known to be a slacker. Never involve much in sports. Never look healthy one.

Why all the sudden? My friend was quite shocked when I know him also. I was quite shocked myself. Somehow, the people there "saiko" me. Telling me they can get rid of my fats, make me more presentable, improve my health, and blah blah blah.

Well, honestly speaking, I wanted to get rid of my obstructing stomach also. With my shirts and pants all seems to be getting smaller. So i tot i should start doing something.

On the other hand, I also have nothing better to do already. No girlfriend, low social life. Just work and go home also very sian.

Well, I hope this can change my lifestyle a bit. Make me more awake and alert I hope. Coz all the time i feel so tired and sleepy, and bored also.

But hor. I will miss my SCV channel 55 drama shows leh. ahyaa.... how huh. keke. hmm nvr mind lor. maybe i watch the repeat show on 55 or 255 later in the night lor.

So, hope you be able to see a fitter and better looking Jason in a few months time.

So look forward to it ah. =p

the weather is damn hot

this few days, the weather is damn hot. Damn sianz.

I really miss Melbourne weather. ALways so cool and shiok. Genting Highlands weather also can.

You know what? the next PH is in oct. Arhhh!!! thats a freaking long time you know.

And i haven clear my broad leave yet. sianz. Im working in a bank you see, and its a MAS directive to clear 5 days broad leave each year. Guess what, I only have 12 days leave. 5 days for broad leave meaning only 7 days for me to take whether i want.

coz the 5 days, unless is carefully planned, if not will be wasted slacking at home!!!!

Happy Birthday Singapore

Today's SIngapore Birthday coz its 9th AUgust National Day. Good day to stay at home rest and watch the parade. This year will be the last time that ndp will be held in National Stadium coz they are going to demolish the stadium.

So bye bye National Stadium.

Anyway NDP always similar in some ways every year. So kinda of boring to watch lah, especially this year they repeated the pledge and national "ant-tum" (dunno hw to spell) twice.

But the fireworks quite alot, so not too bad lah. Expected lah, since National Stadium will be gone after this. But I think its a good public holiday for everyone lah. Esp the kids since its school holidays for them too i think. My mother say so, dunno true anot. I tot sch holidays in sep?

ANyway, Happy National Day to every singaporeans out there!!

Last Friday, my colleague with quacky voice left. He only work in the bank for barely one month i think. Then a new lady by the name of ebel joined our dept. A malaysian lady, one year older than me. Quite a nice girl, easy going and easy to get along.

Just now stayed back to do system implementation, at the same time show our new colleague ebel the procedure to carry out. Today's implementation was longer as usual as we were upgrading the .Net framework from 1.1 to 2.0 also. So while my team leader was patching the server, we talk about our great indo colleague. Ok, im being sarcastic lah. He is the indo colleague I have been complaining about.

Guess what my team leader, this indo colleague actually emailed HR to ask when they are going to extend his contract. His contract was going to end in end july you see. But whether his contract gets renew or not is depending on our IT dept but not HR. I think he abit siao lah. So the HR staff fwd the email to our AGM. He fwd the email to our japanese DH. and finally the email reached our development manager. He asked the team leader of this indo whether to keep him or not. Joseph, his team leader, being a ok-ok person, said keep. So he was offered another contract. But the pay is the same.

Now the next amazing thing he did was to emailed our AGM why his pay stays the same. Once again the email was fwd around until the hands of our development mgr. He pull him in the meeting room and told him straight - that his performance was not good.

GUess what this indo colleague say? hmm like that i think i have to consider signing the contract or not. Our dev mgr replied, sure, go ahead and consider. Hahaha, what a joke. What this indo guy thinking? He thinks he so valuable that he can make the bank try to keep him if he wants to leave.

I think its the other way around. The bank welcomes him to leave. Haha. Seriously, I think its unfair to rest of the dev staff if the bank keeps him. Because his pay in the 1st place should be not bad, since he is a USA degree holder. 2ndly, his performance is so lousy and couldnt get along with the rest of the colleagues, esp my team leader, thats why he was out in another team.

I'm just wondering why keeping him, if he only creates problem. Not that I'm backstabbing him alone. I think the our whole dept is stabbing on him from the front. haaha Seriously, I hope he goes.


ANyway, another 2 months or so, my contract will be due too. I dunno what will i be offered and whether I should go or not. But i feel one should aim to achieve higher. I just get the feeling that the new contract will not be able to satisfy me. After all, i'm a degree holder leh. With one year exp. I think im worth more than what im getting now.
