Ho Chi Minh City

I was in Ho Chi Minh City from tuesday afternoon to friday afternoon. This business trip is rather boring. Every evening got nothing to do. I even bought a story book "The Da Vinci Code" at Changi Airport to read. Yes, I actually bought a book! But I only read a few chapters lah. Going everywhere alone is very boring leh. Then somemore my hotel room a bit scary. Every nite at around 11:45 to 12:30, someone seems to be dragging some cupboards or bed upstairs. drag n drag. I actually wanted to call the hotel reception to ask what the hell is happening upstairs. But i didnt lah. I afraid wait "something" hear me bao toh them, then i jialat. So i just try to sleep lor.

My elder bro and my sis-in-law got married today. Went thru the tea ceremony and the wedding dinner. The whole wedding went on well. My job was supposed to be my family driver. But when I reached the hotel at around 6pm, my bro ask me to be his wedding dinner coordinator. I got a few of my bro's friends and very cooperative hotel staff. Everything was smooth moving that night. No problems at all. Really happy that my brother is finally married. He was with my sis-in-law for 10+ years leh. wow, really along time. I remember on my bro's 21st birthday, she already my bro's gf liao. My bro is 32 this year. wow. Wish them forever happiness and white hair til old and faster make a nephew or niece for me to dote on. haha.

today, back from ho chi minh city. arrived in sg around 3pm. still got to go back office. sian man. previously i asked my manager whether i still need to go back to office or not. he say need. dunno izzit he tua me or not leh.

anyway i got picture. nw too tired to upload to my pc. maybe later.... on sat or sun.....

tmr my elder bro's big day. his wedding. just nw he tell me he is feeling happy but gan chiong at the same time. i guess so he will bah. its once in the lifetime thing anyway.

can imagine the pressure and everything to make sure everything goes rite.

actually the tea ceremony is the wedding itself liao. the wedding dinner is just to inform friends and relatives of both sides about the wedding.

Great Concert!

Just came back from Jay Chou's concert. The concert was great. The songs he sang all I like man. Jay is a talent, I must say. In the concert today, he played the piano, guitar, drum set, and gu-zhen. Damn good man. At the start of the concert, the trailer for his new movie Kungfu dunk was screened. Looks like quite good leh. Must go watch when the movie screens in the cinema.

I was seated quite far from the stage this time, so I couldnt get any good pictures. Show u some of the lousy pictures I took. This afternoon I went to cut my hair and colour my hair abit. See nice anot. The colour not very obvious though.

Lightest ever

Yesterday after my gym session, I went to weight myself on the scale. 78kg!! Record low man. But I didnt really go on diet or what leh. I still eat 3 full meals with snacks in between. Maybe the "at-least-2-times" weekly gym sessions help to keep it in control.

Jay Chou concert tomorrow.... Cant wait..... tomorrow gng to trim hair and maybe put some colour before i go to the concert. Next sat my bro's wedding, no time to do it next week liao coz i gng to Ho Chi Minh City again on tues afternoon and back only on Friday afternoon.

Headache Saturday

Last night, went to Boiler Rm @ St James with a few of my colleagues. Saw many chiobus, cant help wondering why one of them wasn't my gf. LOL. Anyway I think we drank too much lah. We ordered 3 big tiger towers. Happy hour 55 per tower, so we ordered 3. There's only 5 of us, so it quite a lot of beer. We left around 3 or 4am, could really remember. Next thing I remember is I boarded a taxi with 2 of my colleagues. Then the next moment is the taxi driver tell me reach already. Paid 32 bucks and struggle to get home. Try to puke some stuff out, but nothing much some water. So dizzily made my way home, get my contacts out and down on the sofa I went. Woke up in the morning around 10am. Took a toilet break and a cup of water and back to the sofa. Head damn dizzy and pain. Woke up around 12 or 1pm. Went to take a bath, then went to my room to sleep. Then think I woke up around 3pm. Ate a little of lunch, then went to sit down on my bed. Think I fell asleep. woke up again at 6pm. Think I haven sleep for a long time. Coz thursday night I also went home quite late, my friend wenxing's birthday that day. We had dinner at Geyland, then went Jewel Box for some drinks. Jewel Box the atmosphere quite nice, they renovated the place since the last time I went. Last time, the place is not called Jewel Box yet.

Anyway, just now went to Khatib with my brother. Had some porridge. Now feeling better. But head still a bit heavy. Quite a bad hangover. I think its too much beer and fatigue as well. What a waste for a Saturday right anot. Whole day sleeping!

Saw from today's new paper and 933 cruz's blog that MC King passed away yesterday. Although I am not a fan of his, but he did played a part during my growing-up days as a teenage when I used to watch Comedy nite.

Happy 21st Birthday John!!!

Today is my 3rd brother John's 21st Birthday. Want to wish him a very happy birthday. The party was held on New Year's Eve. Here are some photos.

After reading Phyllis's post on her new year resolution, i remember I wanted to do lasik also. Being wearing contacts for a few mths already. Really want to throw my specs away and see the clear world once again.....

Wow, cant believe it. its 2008 liao. year by year just passed like nobody's business.

So a recap of wad I had done in 2007.

2007 I have done a few 1st times.

1) Scuba diving
2) Inline skating
3) Lost 20kg
4) Completed J2EE & Web service course

I think tats about all lah. the rest are not very significant.

What I want for 2008.

- Reduce weight til 75kg (not really impt this one)
- Find a girlfriend (hopefully, im getting old liao)
- More time to skate (to brush up my inline skating)
- Complete Advance scuba diving
- More scuba diving. (see more of the wonderful underwater world)
- find a better job (2 year plus in my current job, time to find another?)
