My new running top

Bought a new running top from Adidas yesterday. Now adidas got xmas sales. I bought the top only for 29 dollars. Only selected items got discount though.

This week been a sneezing and coughing week for me. At the start of the week, i got running nose, after the nose run finish, came the cough.

But this few days slightly better liao, after gulping down some cough mixture that I bought from my family doc.

she's getting married

this afternoon received a call from her. she said she wanted to buy a laptop, asked me if acer laptop ok anot. i told her acer not bad, i using acer now also. then blah blah blah blah

then she said, "Jason, im getting married." i was very shocked. "huh, when?" "Next month" she replied. I said "ok." then we ended the call.

I realised I didnt congrat her. So i smsed her. she replied "thanks."

she is getting married, i should be feeling happy for her. instead i felt a bit sour. not exactly sad, but just not happy.

not that i haven got over her. just that maybe i still hold a little small hope that one day i might stand a chance again.

she is getting married. i should just forget all about it.

Gosh, am I behind time?

In the recent months, I attended friends' weddings, visited friends with their new-born babies, can't help but wonder if I am behind time?

Actually, I prefer getting a wife and bearing children at a younger age, then at least my wife only have to suffer while she is still young and the gap between us and our children won't be so huge.

I don't want the situation such that I am turning 50 and my children is still schooling. How to take care of them?

But I saying all these in the aspect that I can find someone who is willing to tie the knot with me lah.

Who knows, maybe I will be single till old haha..

One or 2 weeks back, I bought my new phone, Nokia 6288. Its a modified model of 6280

Quality of the fotos still ok right? 2 megapixel only. But the phone functions quite good. A lot better than my previous 6230.

Busy schedule coming up

Busy schedule coming up starting next jan. Still I haven decide whether to go ahead with it anot.

3 things that I be doing, taking up all 7 days of the week. The 3 things are J2EE course at NUS, RT (Remedial Training) coz i failed my IPPT and lastly my Gym sessions.

Each week the schedule in is something like this.

Monday to Friday - Working @ Capital Towers 8.30am to 5.00pm

After work:

Monday - J2EE course at NUS 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Tuesday - Gym at California Fitness 6.00pm to 8.00pm
Wednesday - J2EE course at NUS 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Thursday - RT at Khatib Camp 6.00pm to 10.00pm (most likely 8.00pm will finish)
Friday - J2EE course at NUS 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Saturday - Gym at California Fitness (probably in the afternoon)
Sunday - RT at Khatib Camp 4.00pm to 8.00pm (most likely 6.00pm will finish)


Maybe some of you might think, hey that not very busy what!

Well, comparing with what I doing now, it quite a big change. Coz most of the days, after work I either go gym or go home watch TV haha.

The thing I'm considering whether to go ahead is the J2EE course starting 3 Jan to Mid Apr. 9 hours of night classes a week. But if I dont take the course in Jan, the next one is in June or July.

RT and Gym no need to consider lah. Coz RT is compulsory to attend and gym I already paid the money liao. LL lor.

Vivocity mall => nothing special what....

Today, send my dad's car for service. I didn't want to wait there like a fool like that, so I decided to walk around. The car workshop is around redhill area. Actually I wanted to find some coffeeshop to have lunch or something, but dunno how, i anyhow walk and found myself at redhill mrt.

Hmm... Went in and look at the mrt map. Hmm.. Harbourfront? Vivocity? Ok, lets go take alook. Went there and walk around. Ya, its quite big, but nothing much leh.

Felt hungry, so have some kaya toast and kopi at Ya-kun. Then went back to the car workshop to collect the car.

Interesting hor.... lol

Then went to fook hai building where the chan brothers tour office is situated. Wah, so many people there leh. Took a queue no, and the lady told me got 30 people before me in the queue. Pengz... Wait until when. She told me, why dun go to suntec tmr. Got chan brother tour fair there. I loiter there awhile to see how slow the queue is.

After waiting 35 mins, only 3-4 people. I gave up and went home.

Happy Birthday to Me !!!

Today's is 20th Oct 2006. 25 years ago, I cried for the 1st time.

Quite a happy birthday this year, coz i received a lot of birthday wishes today. Glad that I wasn't forgotten. =)

Happy also because I got my bonus today also. Not bad the bonus I must say. And most importantly, I renewed the contract with my bank for another year coz they offered me a better pay than my previous one. Makes it quite worthwhile to stay on.

So I guess I be staying put for a while =)

Damn damn.

Does GOD have anything against me? Why last sat I had my IPPT, the haze came. Today, also same.

Past few days was ok, but today its hazy again. The air is full of the awful smell brought by the haze and how do you expect me to run?

ANyway, I failed again and I don't think I will attempt again.

So RT here I come LOL!!!!

Fantastic IPPT results

I guess nobody wished my good luck. Good gracious, this is the worse ippt result I even get. What can be worse than this?



I did only 23 sit-ups, which is something that I nvr expect to happen. Normally I can do 30 in just half a min. Today I struggle to do only 23!!! Must be the gym session I had 2 days ago. Haven quite recover yet. Same can be said for my chin-ups.

Well for my 2 all-time-lousy station SBJ and 2.4km, with low moral + haze + dunno-what-else, I failed as well.

But i nvr expected out of 5 stations, i got ZERO for 4. Record breaking leh/

Damn, i going to book my IPPT again for next sat. Got to pass before my birthday!! I DON'T WANT TO GO RT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what a great mid-autumn fest!

What a great mid-autumn fest for the year 2006. Mid-autumn fest is supposingly the day where people get to enjoy the beautiful full moon and the little kids get to carry those "blinking-blinking" battery-operated lantern with music but last night wasn't the best night.

It was a hazy night. The full moon though high up in the sky, shining brightly, the thick and smelly haze is still very noticable to all, hovering over the sky, preventing us from admiring the moon at its very best.

Damn those inconsiderate indos. Don't they know that the world is dying? C'mon, the world belongs to everyone on earth. Not just to those plantation owners in Sumatra.

To make the night even worse, in last night 5 mil mid-autumn toto jackpot draw, my quick-pick system 7 ticket didnt even match a single number at all. Wow, so lucky me.

And guess what, later today at 4pm, i got to go Khatib Camp take my IPPT. I'm already struggling to pass my 2.4km run. Now with the haze at the psi level of 100+, how to run?

Happy Children's Day

Today is 1st Oct - Children's Day. How I envy those little kids, with no worries, with their naive minds. If you point out that children nowadays are more stressed up with school work, ok that I have to agree.

But what I am talking about is that children's mind are so simple. Day by day just having fun or doing homework. Other things are all left to the grown-ups to handle.

How I wish I can be a little boy again. At least there are much more to look forward to when we were still kids. School vacations, public holidays. Nowadays, everyone is so busy. There's nowhere to go.
