Just now after work, my colleagues and I participated in the yearly JP Morgan Chase corporate run. The run was about 5.6km and this year the changed the route. In the previous years, the start and end point was in the padang and esplanade area.
This year the run started at esplanade drive and ended at the Formula One pit area. The route this year not so good. A lot of bottlenecks at small corners and we had to end up walking which was quite frustrating, especially for those who were running.
I finished the run in about 40+ mins I think. Ya, LOL, slow I know.
The worse thing is about collecting the goody bag after the run. Previous years, straight after the run, we would queue up on the fields at the padang area to collect the goody bags at the respective counters set up over there. This year, they placed the goody bag collection on the 2nd floor of the F1 building which was rather stupid. In the end, we had to squeeze and queue up for a hour or so just to get our goody bags. Very lousy planning.
A lot of queuing this year. Even depositing personal bags also need to queue. Take goody bag queue. Collect back our personal bags also queue. Queue queue queue, so very waste of time leh. Haa..
