Iluma

TGTIGF!!!! Which is short form for Thank God Today Is Good Friday. LOL!!!

Today dear came to my place to have lunch then later we went to the new shopping mall opposite Bugis Junction and beside Bugis street to walk walk and watch movie. This new shopping mall is call Iluma (pronoun as ee-lu-ma). Quite big and there still many shops not opened or not taken up yet. In case you dunno which shopping mall this is, it is the building with many funny white boxes outside with light bulbs inside. Then at night, big gigantic words will be formed with the many many white boxes moving left and right. Quite interesting concept. Suppose to be quite futuristic.

The cinema is not GV, Cathay, Eng Hwa or Shaw. Its called Filmgarde. Now it operating at this new Iluma shopping mall and the other at Kallang Leisureplex. Then we only paid $6 dollar for the ticket even though its a PH today because Filmgarde was having a promotion for 2 weeks ending today. I didn't know also, until my colleague told me a few days ago. So we quickly went online to book. Haa.. Good deal right.

Normal days, the ticket will cost the same and somemore no promotions from any credit cards yet. So maybe not so worth going on weekends and PHs.

Anyway we watched Shinjuku. Only so-so I find. The first Jackie Chan movie in which he never fight with his kungfu but use knife to slash at people only. And get beaten up instead of the other way around.
