Bowling 212

Just came back from OCC. At last i manage to achieve something with my super heavy bowling which I bought years ago.

But still my bowling is very inconsistent. Sometimes can get average 150+. Sometimes 100 also cant reach. Haa....

chalet

haben been to downdown east for ages. Last Friday nite, went down there to the coasta sand resort around 11pm. Only came back home this morning.

Been awhile since I had this kind of fun - sitting around in a circle, playing games and alcohol punishments. For 2 nites, we played games like murderer, 007, indian poker, multiplication game. Then I got to drink alot when we were playing the multiplication game becoz i sucks at maths. Both night I went to bed with very "high" head.

Very tired leh still. Think i will go to bed early tonite. Back to work tomolo. Hope no monday blues... ha..

boring week

Boring week coz nobody at home. My dad, mum and maid went up to KL with some of my dad's friends. So left me all alone at home... A bit sian leh.

Today I did a 15km in 33mins in gym. I did at interval of level 7 and 9 changing at every 5 mins. Dunno how i will fare on the actual cycling. maybe this weekend go ecp cycle. anyone interested anot?

OCBC Cycling 40km

Not much has happened for the start of 2009. The only thing is that I joined the 40km OCBC Cycle. Got to start to train up abit. If not on the actual day, dunno if I can complete the challenge or not.

The route is starting from F1 Pit, up Republic Ave, Nicoll Highway, ECP and then turn back before Changi Coast rd. Quite a distance actually. I nvr really cycle so far before as far as I can remember. Haaa.

Last Friday, I did a 10km in 22mins trial in the gym. Wow, can be very tiring. LOL. Actually thinking of going to ECP later today. But a bit lazy leh and nobody to go with also. How I wish i staying in the East.

Anyway, I read alot of horoscope from different sources saying 1981 chicken in the cow year will have good wealth and chances of promotion and new job opportunities. Hope so its true lah.

Happy 2009 to everyone!!! Wishing all the best in whatever you do!!!

Year 2008 was quite a happening year. Many things happen. Mostly good things. I don't really remember any not so good things that happen, which is great. Somehow, I feel some luck at the end of 2008. Hope 2009, things will be just as great if not better.

I have just put up my wishlist for 2009. 3 wishes was brought over from last year.

2 new wishes I have included are to save more money and to have more interesting & challenging tasks at work.

1) Scuba dive at Pulau Rendang - hopefully this wish will come true in March or April when the diving season opens again.

2) A girlfriend - this wish, think I need to work hard abit liao. 2009 already. Leave all to fate seems like quite difficult. Maybe got to go look for some fate myself. Maybe can go join more SDU activities or something. Haa.....

3) A new job - this wish, got to see got any job opponunity this year anot. Also got to see wish number 5 got anything happening anot. Year 2009 will be quite a tough year. See how lah.

4) Save more money - this new wish is added because after working for 3 years, I realise I nvr save much money. I just simply spend all I earn. In fact, sometimes even spend more than what I earn each month. Lucky got bonus. Help me survive 2008. So this year I need to start saving some money each month... Try lah... haa

5) More interesting & challenging tasks at work - new entry! I been working for 3 years liao in my current job. In comfort zone for too long I think. Things I do everyday become very boring and not so challenging. Like doing the same thing everyday. Hope got some chances to do some new things. Then got chance to perform again also. Last year I got my Vietnam project to push up my score. Hope this year got something similar also.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all my dearest friends and family members. May the year 2009 be a great year for all of us..... i hope.

The recession has not really affected us yet. But it will, in 2009 be not 2010.

But lets not like this affect this wonderful festive season.

The year 2008 has been a fruitful year for me for a number of reasons.

Firstly, I did my LASIK which changed my life quite abit. No more blur vision. Everything I see at anytime is perfectly clear. LASIK is indeed wonderful. 3k for the op is 1oo% worthwhile.

Secondly, I got my advance diver cert. So more dives to come for me.

Thirdly, got my new mobile phone, Samsung Omnia.

Forth, got my pair of inline skates, but I hardly skate now.

Fifth, got my snorkel mask and fins. These will come in handly for my next dives.

Well, there are more happenings lah, but cant seems to remember what. haaa... Maybe old liao, thats y cant recall already.

Anyway 3 wishes or goals for this year have to be carry forward to next year I guess.

1) Scuba dive at Rendang (season closed now, aiming to go next year April)

2) Girlfriend (leave this to fate I guess)

3) Better job (unknown due to current market, maybe later half of next year or 2010?)


So what other goals for next year? Haven really think about it yet.... I post it up when I think of some. =)

I won tallest person, best dress, best table and 5th prize in last night's DnD.
But I lost the chance to watch Andy Lau fantastic concert.

Just my luck lah. Who tell me dun go find out when my bank's Dnd first before buying the ticket. Haaa...

Anyway the DnD was very fun. In fact it was the best out of the four DnDs that I went.

We won the best table becoz all of us dressed up in one way or another. Some rent costumes like me, others come in retro dressing and makeups. Prize was a Ipod shuffle look-alike. Those china one i think. haha I nvr take the prize though.

Then I won the tallest person, needless to say. Not many people is as tall as me. haaa. Prize dun need to mention lah. Some lousy pencil and pen. Pen no ink some more.

Then I won the male best dress.... and it comes with a prize to pay. My reputation. 200+ pairs of eyes saw the crazy side of me last night. Omg. What I won was $80 dollars Marina Sq shopping vouchers.

Then finally in the final part of the lucky draw, I won the 5th prize which is a Sony DVD Camrecorder, more known as Sony ViewCam.

I read on the forum about the critics of Andy Lau's concert...... Everyone was giving thumbs up for the concert. "The singing and the effects were good" was what most people commented.

I dun really have any regrets lah. I just believed that we dun always have the best of everything. But the truth is I had great fun last nite.. Haaa...

wow, close to a mth nvr blog liao. nvr hear much complains from the tagboards shows how little readers i have, or maybe my readers are bz also? haaa

Anyway, its had been a bz mth for me. got a project release. work until quite late everyday to support.

then attended two wedding liao. one more tmr evening.

come to think of it, for this mth, i was either at home, at work, or at frd's wedding. haaa.

also, i have sold my andy lau ticket. i love to watch the concert, but i wanted to go to my bank's dnd also. this year my colleagues very on, all go rent costumes mah. so i tot it will be quite happening lor.

then the andy lau concert i not sitting with may, but sitting alone. at first i tot watching concert might feel like watching movie. but i realise movie, in the cinema is all dark and cannot tok, so watch alone is ok.

but concert, is nice to have people around and talk and sing along together. and go crazy together.

so......... in the end i try to sell my ticket thru:
1) e-bay
2) thru friends
3) msn's personalised message
4) facebook.

guess which one is the most effectively?

FACEBOOK!!! i tried to auction my ticket on e-bay, but i relist my items 2 times and still nobody bidded. i guess single ticket nobody will want lah.

but just few hours after i put it on my facebook status, somebody was interested in my ticket. I was quite lucky lor. the buyer was surprised when i told him i dunno any1 around sitting around the seat. haaa

i guess next time i wont go buy a single ticket again.
